An unapologetic front cover logo that harnesses a masculine bulk with subtle feminine details. The wordmark is designed to be showcased both vertically and horizontally, including a monogram.
A few iterations were made of The Bon wordmark, with the final being the seductive curvilinear version, shown above in black and white.
It's a distinctive silhouette, highly noticeable, readable even, at distances both near and far. The considered use of space and simple geometric forms, carve a bold presence in whatever conditions the Carnival season may throw at it (powder, heat, abeer, paint, mud, molasses, etc.) How will the logo stand out with glitter or sequins spilled all over it, or during the day with the sun reflecting or at night, with car headlights? The consideration of these details make for a more robust, yet still attractive design.
